In WiPLASH, graphene antennas are utilised to realise chip-to-chip wireless communication, which is also in the application spectrum of GreEnergy. Furthermore, since the quality of the graphene material and the scalability of the process technology play an important role in both projects, some synergies can be expected from an exchange.
In FOXES, the goal is to develop a device that combines a high-efficiency solar cell with a multilayer capacitor and an energy management circuit, for IoT sensor node applications. While the concepts of FOXES are very similar to GreEnergy, the approach is different. Moreover, both projects share the same commercial exploitation route – IoT, as well as the same enthusiasm for our global environment.
This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101006963 (GreEnergy).
